Expect Great Things
"Then Haman approached King Xerxes and said, “There is a certain race of people scattered through all the provinces of your empire who keep themselves separate from everyone else. Their laws are different from those of any other people, and they refuse to obey the laws of the king. So it is not in the king’ s interest to let them live."
Esther 3:8
Haman was an advisor to King Xerxes. He approached the king with a sinister plot, painting a prejudiced picture against the Jews. He maliciously proposes their annihilation, including offering to pay for it. Haman didn’t know that Queen Esther was a Jew. Remember, she had concealed her identity. But God knew. God will always put a deliverer in place. He is always looking out for His people. Let us remember the profound lesson of Esther’s story. It encourages us to trust in the unseen hand of God, knowing that He can use our concealed strengths and qualities for His divine purposes.
Just as Esther revealed her identity at the right moment, our hidden potential may one day shine forth, bringing blessings, redemption, and deliverance in our lives and the lives of others. This is a powerful reminder that God works in mysterious ways, even through the hidden aspects of our journey.
Expect God to do great things in your life too!
